Plot
The story is about a boy who is rich and has everything but he wants something new on his birthday. He has a lot of adventures and finally gets what he wants. It took like a day. There were some unusual things in the storybook. The beginning of the story was a bit slow but sooner and sooner it got exiting and hilarious. The story was written in a good way that they flow together.

Characters
The main characters were John and Bob. John was tall, skinny, naughty and had a afro. Bob was the opposite so short, fat, polite and had short hair. I liked Bob cause it describes me and I also love movies and hate reading. They were best friends and enemies later and then friends. Yes one of the main character did change throughout the story.

Comments on style
The story was written in the first person. The story was not important at all. In my opinion the setting was not in details. The feelings and attitudes were not described in depth. The story was not good at all because it didn't make any sense. There were many characters which could improve like John could have improved his way of talking cause what he was saying is literally rubbish. 

General
I don't think that the writer had a particulrar reason for the story. When I was reading the story I thought that there will be something fun and interesting in the end but it never came. After reading the book I was so mad to myself cause I chose this book. I sort of learnt that poor people who lives in villages wears the same clothes for many day, don't have many toys. Me and my all classmates are different  to them. The other books I have been reading were way better compared to this book. I don't think this book is really important. I wouldn't recommend this book to any of my friends except if you love ` kids fairytails´. I would not read any other books by this author.
