How was Earth made and Universe
Scientists say that the Universe and all the other planets including Earth are made by Big Bang. Big Bang was a huge heat explosion and it started the Universe. This incident happened 13,7 Billion years ago. It is hard to know why this incident happened. The heat was 1,800 Trillion Trillion degrees. Within less than 1 second, the universe was born and it had benn getting colder and colder by the minute. The Big Bang is still Banging and the universe expanding day by day. The universe was a very hot and sticky place even after a million years later and later over tens of millions of years later hydrogen and helium were formed. These pieces made up and started to form the first stars and galaxies. After another very long time of about a billion years, there were millions of other galaxies made up with millions of stars in each galaxy. And later the humans were formed and so on. So many people believe that the Big Bang created the Universe and every other planets including sun, moon and our own planet Earth.
Some people think that god made the world. People who are religious and believe in god think that god made the world but not everyone who has a religion still needs to think the same. They can think whatever they want. Like in the story of Kalevala a goddess of the air, Ilmatar, got bored, so she came down from the sky to float and swim. Soon, she became pregnant, but she did not give birth. Instead, she continued to float and swim for 700 years! (which is crazy). One day, a bird was flying around looking for a place to land, so Ilmatar the godess let the bird land on her knee. The bird laid six eggs, five gold, and one made of iron. The eggs were getting warmer and warmer. Finally, the eggs got so hot that they burned Ilmatar, and she kicked out her leg from the pain. The eggs fell into the water and cracked. The land of the earth was formed from the bottom of the eggshell, while the egg white became the moon and stars, and the egg yolk became the sun. Ilmatar was still pregnant, and the baby she had inside her was no longer a baby but an old, wise man named Väinämöinen and a gitl came and so on more people came from the old man. So overall it means that some people thinks that god did this but no one really knows.
