14/3. Forest plant presentation

Choose one of the tree forest types (dry taiga, wet taiga, broad-leaf forest) to examine more closely.

Search the internet for information about your chosen forest type. Create a photo presentation where you discuss the tree, shrub, and undergrowth species of your forest type. You can use Thinglink, PowerPoint, or any other similar software or method.

14/4. Ecosystem presentation

Form small groups.

In these groups, choose one ecosystem and create a written presentation where you describe and discuss it.

You can choose from the following ecosystems: river, oligotrophic lake, eutrophic lake, the archipelago of the Baltic Sea, the open sea of the Baltic Sea, dry taiga forest, wet taiga forest, pine swamp, spruce bog, open bog, fell.

Consider the following questions: Where can the ecosystem be found? Is it common or endangered? What kinds of plants are found growing in your ecosystem? What kinds of animals live there? What is the ecosystem like as a living environment?
