THE ASSESSMENT: 

This study unit consists of two modules (1+3 = 4 credits) and the assessment will be based on following facts. 

There will be two larger exams (during the assessment weeks). The both larger exams will have the same value when the teacher decides the final grades. In addition, there will be a smaller number of vocabulary tests. Whenever there is a vocabulary test on the schedule, the teacher will notify the students some days earlier. In other words, you will always have time to get prepared for the tests. 

The weighted values of the different performances are as follows: 

1st bigger exam: During the assessment week of the 1st period at the end of September (length: 3 hours)

* the weighted value: 35 %

2nd bigger exam: During the assessment week of the 2nd period at the end of November (length: 3 hours) 

* the weighted value: 35 %


VOCABULARY TESTS:

* the weighted value: 30 %



Please get familiar with the following example:

7,5 x 35 % + 6,25 x 35 % + 8,5 x 30 % = 736,25: 100 = 7,36 = 7+ 

FURTHERMORE:

It's worth being an active student during the lessons. The teacher will highly appreciate your positive attitude towards learning of foreign languages. Please remember to raise your hand regularly in class. For instance, should your average of the different items be 7,1, you can still be rewarded with grade 8 in your report card.
