Lataa itsellesi puhelimelle / muulle laitteelle Otso-sovellus. Löydät sen sovelluskaupasta nimellä hakemalla ja se on Otavan oma sovellus sen oppikirjoja varten. Sillä voit esim. kuunnella kaikki kirjan tekstit ja sanastot. Kun olet ladannut Otson, hae siihen englannin kirjat joko kirjoittamalla hakuun Scene tai skannaamalla kirjan kansi. Kun kirja on omissa kirjoissasi, voit käyttää sovellusta skannaamalla sen sivun, jonka haluat kuunnella. Sanojen ääntämistä on hyvä harjoitella myös kotona, ja tällä äpillä se on helppoa. Jos olet poissa, ja tunnilla on tehty kirjan kuuntelutehtäviä, niitäkin voi kuunnella tällä - ikävä kyllä aina kuuntelutehtävien skannaus ei toimi / jostain muusta syystä sovellus tökkii. Vinkkinä tähän, että skannaus voi onnistua, kun kääntää sivua niin, että kamera osoittaa jo haluttuun sivuun ja sitten käännät sivua edestakaisin.

After downloading the app, you have to download your English books into it: either search for them by name, Scene, or scan the front of your book. Please add both of your books. After this you can use the app by scanning the page you want to listen to. It's good to practise the pronunciation of the words at home as well, and this app makes it easy. If you have been away from school, and we have done listening exercises in the lesson, you can also do those exercises at home. Unfortunately I have noticed that the exercises don't always work, even if you are directing your camera to the page in question. Sometimes it helps if you direct the camera to the page in question and then turn the pages back and forth - at least this helps with my phone.
