How to apply for the bilingual classes and entrance exam / Kaksikieliseen opetukseen hakeminen ja pääsykoe
The application period for bilingual education in the seventh grade, which starts in autumn 2024, will take place from October 1 to November 15. 2023. The application is made electronically (see link below), and applicants will be invited by email to an entrance exam at the end of November.
The entrance exam for the bilingual class will be held on Monday 20th of November 2023 at 3 pm. The entrance exam will be held at Porin Lyseon koulu. The address is Annankatu 5. You can access the building from the school courtyard through the A-doors. After the A-doors, there is a lobby area from where the students will be picked up. The entrance exam includes an interview and a written test, and will last about an hour.
NOTE! Students from Cygnaeus School bilingual class do not need to take the aptitude test if they are continuing in their bilingual teaching. They must still complete the application form for Porin Lyseo bilingual teaching.
At any other time, those applying to bilingual classes may contact the school principal (Kimmo Salokangas, 044-7015321) to arrange an entrance exam.

Haku syksyllä 2024 alkavalle kaksikielisen opetuksen seitsemännelle luokalle tapahtuu 1.10-15.11.2023. Hakeminen tapahtuu sähköisesti (kts. linkki alempana). Hakijat kutsutaan marraskuun lopulla pidettävään valintakokeeseen sähköpostitse.
Kaksikielisen luokan pääsykoe pidetään maanantaina 20.11.20235 klo 15. Pääsykoe pidetään Porin Lyseon koululla, Annankatu 5. Sisään pääsee koulun sisäpihalta A-ovista. A-ovien jälkeen on aulatila, josta oppilaat haetaan. Pääsykoe sisältää haastattelun ja kirjallisen osion, ja kestää noin tunnin.
Huom! Cygnaeuksen kaksikielisen opetuksen oppilaat voivat siirtyä ilman soveltuvuuskoetta Porin Lyseon kaksikieliselle luokalle. Heidän täytyy kuitenkin täyttää hakulomake Porin Lyseon painotettuun opetukseen, vaikka erilliseen valintakokeeseen ei tarvitse osallistua.
Muulloin kaksikielisille luokille pyrkivät voivat olla yhteydessä koulun rehtoriin (Kimmo Salokangas, 044-7015321) pääsykokeen järjestämistä varten.
