a belief in s-g: He has a strong belief in Providence.
a faith in s-g: His faith in God is very strong.
a confidence in s-g: Her confidence in herself is something else. (Hänen luottamuksensa itseensä...)

He gave a direct answer to my question. (substantiivissa on to-prepositio)
