Participants:

Spain: 2 teachers 11 students (10 girls, 1 boy)

Italy: 2 teachers 10 students ( 6 girls, 4 boys)

Finland : 2 teachers 11 students ( 9 girls, 2 boys)

Germany: 11 teachers, about 20 students (depending on programme item)

 

Monday,7 November: Arrival at the City Hotel Stolberg

Italy around 17:30, Finland/Spain around 20:30

Dinner: students together with German students (Pizzeria next to the hotel)

teachers in the restaurant “The Savoy” with Antje

 

Tuesday, 8 November 2022: Day at school

8:30 pick up at hotel by German students, walk to school

9:00 Welcome in the assembly hall, introduction to the programme, Ice Breaker activities

Break (Snacks)

10:30 Evaluation of the survey in international teams

12:30 Lunch break (German bread rolls from the school canteen)

13:30 Evaluation of the survey in international teams, presentation of results

15:00 - ~ 17:00 Sports activities

Evening: teachers: dinner together, students: German students propose activities/dinner

 

Wednesday, 9 November: Excursion to “Garzweiler surface mine” and Paffendorf Castle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garzweiler_surface_mine Das Schloss Paffendorf - Brasserie Schloss Paffendorf

9:00 – ~17:30

Visit from the Garzweiler surface mine,

Lunch break at Paffendorf Castle (typical German buffet) and free time in the park

Evening free

 

Thursday, 10 November: morning at school, afternoon excursion to Aachen

8:30 - ~12.00: Work on various experiments on green energy, break (Snacks)

Lunch break: German bread rolls from the school canteen

13:15: Excursion to Aachen with the train, various activities for teachers and students, dinner in Aachen,

20:30 return to Stolberg with the train

 

Friday, 11November: Work at school, farewell party

9:00 – 12:00: Final round in the assembly hall, evaluation, photo challenge…, break (snacks)

Afternoon: free, our students propose activities

18:00 – 23:00: Farewell party with buffet

 

Saturday, 12 November: Departure

Departure from the hotel (bus): Italy 6:30 am Finland, Spain: 7:30 am
