Today we dealt with exercise 7 on page 178 and discussed some media-related qustions. We also did an additional listening comprehension exercise that involved some radio commercials.

After that we were ready to begin a new chapter: Chapter 18 "The News".

We did the warm-up exrcise first and chatted about news in general. Then we did exercise 2 on page 183, and learned some important words to do with newspapers.

For next week, I'd like you to take a look at pages 184-185 and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary. You'll find the vocabulary on page 187.
