Are we all hoarders?
Today we practised the passive voice in different tenses. We did exercise 5A on page 59. Exercise 5B will be your optional homework. You can check your answers with the answer key below.

We then moved on and dealt with text 6: "Clearing out" on pages 61-62. It turned out that we all have a lot in common with the protagonist of this story, Matthew, who would have been well on his way to becoming a real hoarder if he hadn't decided to move into a smaller flat.
It is funny how almost everybody seems to have too much stuff in their homes.
We also did exercises 6A, 6B, 6C and exercise 8 on page 65.
Answer key for the exercises on pages 57, 62 and 63:

There was a really nice surprise waiting for me: At the end of the class I got the most wonderful Christmas present from the students: A poinsettia, craft chocolates - which have already been eaten. Mmmm! - and a very special kind of tea.

It was only at home when I realised the special message on the label of the tea.
Thank you so much, dear students!
