February 22

Today we did exercises 1, 2a, 2b and 4 in Chapter 12. We practised vocabulary that has to do with office decoration, and we also did some recap on prepositions of place. (Pages 214-216). We also practised some phrases that you need when you are negotiating.

For next week, take a look at exercise 3 on page 130. There are some useful pharases you need when asking for help.

You might also want to study the list of dependent prepositions (verbi + perepositio) on page 216.
Learn these verb expressions by heart, little by little. The first three are your homework! :)

By the way, on class we talked about laptops and no one could think of a term for the part that serves as a mouse. Well, it is called "touch pad", and it is "kosketuslevy" in Finnish!
Here is a useful web page in case you need some computer terms in English: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/language/Search
