The Peda.net platform has only one age restriction: 15 years. This age restriction determines a person’s right to register an account on the platform by themselves.

• A person over the age of 15 can create an account on the platform without permission.
• A person under the age of 15 can create an account only with permission from their parent/guardian.  

In practice, this means that upper secondary school students and users older than them can create a Peda.net account without permission from anyone but themselves. On the other hand, primary and elementary school students need to have permission from their parent/guardian before they can register a Peda.net platform. A school, organization or teacher can create a Peda.net account for a student under the age of 15 if they have permission from the student’s parent/guardian.

The parents/guardians of students under the age of 15 should be asked for their permission at the start of the school year. It is advised that this is done by way of a simple permission letter, or by letting students create their Peda.net accounts under the supervision of their guardians.
