Homework: A list will be passed at every lesson and you will mark equal amount of marks on the list as you have got finished homework assignments (eli yksi ruksi per tehtävä läksylistaan). If the assignment is longer/more challenging, it will be worth two marks(pitkistä tehtävistä kaksi ruksia). Your homework percentage will be counted at the end of the course. You need to have done at least 35% of your homework if you want to pass the course. If you have done more than 85%, you will receive extra points in your course exam!
Word tests: There will be four word tests during the course and they are going to be about the glossaries. The points of these tests will be added to your course test (so make sure you are prepared for them) Schedule for the word tests is here:
Test 1 Glossary Music (p. 16) on Monday 13.2.
Test 2 Glossary Theatre and film (p.34) on Monday 27.2.
Test 3 Glossary Literature (p. 46) on Monday 6.3.
Test 4 Glossary Visual arts (p. 58) on Monday 13.3.
Course work: A review 250-350 words. Instructions in the book on p. 115-117. You can choose whether you want to review a book, a piece of artwork, a movie or a piece of music. Review needs to be returned by Monday 6th of March.
(Independent study: 2.1 Articles with common nouns ( i.e. pages 143-151) Read the grammar rules and study carefully the ones that are new/difficult to you. Also do all the activate exercises (12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 on pages 150-151). These need to be done by Monday 27.2.)

Evalution: Exam (includes the points from your word tests and listening comprehension test as well as the points from your review)
