Keeping a learning diary
Keeping a learning diary in "My workspace"
The Peda.net platform offers great tools for keeping and sharing learning diaries during a course. The best place for storing these learning diaries is the personal workspace of each user's Peda.net profile. The "Blog" and "Text" tools are the most useful module types for creating learning diaries. Students can read each others' diaries by sharing a link to their learning diary to a group submission folder on the class or course page. By using a submission folder instead of a group submission folder, the links to the learning diaries are only visible to the teacher.
In order for the teacher to be able to access the learning diaries stored in students' profiles, the students must give the teacher user privileges to the page on which the learning diary is hosted. When using a group submission folder is used to share students' learning diaries with all of the course's participants, the publicity settings of the learning diary pages should be either set as public or accessible with a key word that is shared in the class.
