In this project, the Rehabilitation Foundation (Kuntoutussäätiö), Arcada UAS, and Lentävä liitutaulu Oy will improve the employment situation in healthcare, focusing on services for the aging population. The project will also strengthen the management of changes in the labor market due to a shortage of skilled labor services for the aging population. A major reason for the labor shortage is the high workload and the fact that many professionals leave the healthcare sector due to declining workability or early retirement. At the same time, the population is aging and there is an increasing need for services. From the perspective of service timing for older adults, the problem is the lack of early support for this target group. Existing services are therefore difficult for employees to provide and are scheduled too late from the end users' perspective. The project supports extensive partnership and cooperation between welfare areas, employment services, and private-sector operators, especially technology companies.
