How to proceed with the actual TOK Exhibition?
The actual TOK exhibition will take place during our school's annual Core afternoon in December. TOK teachers will inform each year group about the actual date and time.
If possible, try to bring the actual objects of your exhibition to school. If this is not possible, pictures of the objects are enough. You can use imagination on how you put your objects on display. You can make an installation, use PowerPoint with your laptop, draw pictures and/or posters, give brief oral presentations, do demonstrations... Anything is fine, if you can just explain your objects and how everything relates to knowledge and knowing through the IA prompt you have chosen. Be prepared to give and receive feedback from peers and IB teachers. Be prepared to write down notes.
If you need to print out any materials, the TOK teachers will help you with this.
The actual TOK exhibition will NOT be assessed per se, but the exhibition will help you to finalise your TOK Exhibition Document. In other words, the actual TOK Exhibition is an important testbed for your TOK ideas in your TOK Exhibition Document. The TOK Exhibition Document you write will be assessed, and the actual TOK Exhibition helps you to get the best possible mark from this piece of work.
Everyone must be present in the actual TOK exhibition. The actual TOK exhibition is a compulsory part of your IB Diploma Programme.
