Past tense speaking practice
In this practice we use only past tense.
Past tense means something that has already happened. Today we practice how to ask something in past tense and how to answer in past tense.
Lets talk about yesterday.
Ask your pair questions about yesterday. Use word did. For example:
What time did you wake up yesterday?
What did you eat for lunch yesterday?
Did you go to work yesterday?
Did you see any movies yesterday?
When did you go to sleep yesterday?
When you answer these questions you need to use imperfect. For example:
I woke up at 6 AM.
I ate pho for lunch.
Yes I went to work yesterday, but I worked only two hours.
No, I didn't see any movies.
I went to sleep around 10 PM.
Practice with these questions with your pair and make at least 3 questions together with your pair. Later you can ask those questions from others.
