I agree with you on this. I get why this song has got criticized, but there are women out there who really seek wealthy men. And in the song, Kanye doesn't say that all women do this. It feels like he is talking from his own experience with a woman who is a gold digger. So he is not generalizing all women so all the hate might be a little too much.
