Gatis Eglitis is one of the founders and CEO of Exante brokerage company. The company was registered in Cyprus as EXT Ltd in 2011 and for many years has been providing services to clients in the field of high-tech stock trading.

Education

Gatis was born in 1973 and grew up in Latvia. He studied at the university in his native country, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations. After obtaining Bachelor's degree he continued his Master's degree in Economics and Finance at the same university. The next step in Gatis' advanced professional education was studying at the Copenhagen Business School. There he earned a Master's degree in strategic management and finance.

Career

Gatis Eglitis gained professional experience in institutional sales, international trading and business development before participating in the creation of Exante. He was a trader and then manager at Saxo Bank for institutional sales. In 2011, Gatis joined the founders of Exante brokerage and became a member of the investment and executive committee of the head office in Malta. After five years on the job, Gatis took over as managing partner. He was given responsibility for Exante's business development and strategic planning.

Deep knowledge of global financial markets, broad outlook Gatis allowed him to become an important part of Exante business development team. He has made a significant contribution to transforming the company from a little-known stock market player into a global-scale service that connects investors and stock exchanges around the world. Professional knowledge in addition to extensive experience using complex financial instruments has helped the businessman to communicate with experienced investors from various countries. Thanks to such a professional approach, serious gaps in the operation of investment platforms offering operations with complex instruments were discovered.
