Session 3 consists of 4 lectures. This session is highly important in developing our strategic thinking. We'll learn about the pitfalls and drawbacks of the former approach to strategy - strategic planning. Then, we discuss what is needed for strategic thinking and why it is so important in our turbulent times. Based on his studies, professor Alava also constructs an important framework including an organizational learning cycle and a vicious cycle to be used in analyzing organizational development and learning.
