In the second session we will proceed to the next topic of the course – ethics. We will learn the historical background of ethics, and will get to know the ethical systems. At the end of the first lecture, you will have the opportunity to look at your own organization and country in relation to the framework of organizational ethics presented in the lecture. Next, we will define the dimensions of ethical climate, and you will be instructed to assess the ethical climate in an organization you know.

In the next lectures, the framework developed by Hitt will be introduced and the holistic model combining leadership styles, ethical systems, and modes of being is introduced. Finally, by the end of this session, we will discuss the importance of trust in ethics and will close by introducing the characteristics of an ethical code.
