Lecture 1 Systems and structures

In this lecture, we first locate the evolvement of the notion of systems and systems theory. Then we introduce rational and natural systems, and then proceed to the theory of open systems. For the second, we study school organizations as systems by braking down them into subsystems. The last item in the lecture will be an introduction to structures in organizations.
