You get to plan your further studies: What, where and when to study. We are also practicing applying for a job by writing a CV and a personal statement and taking part in a job fair. In addition, we’ll have a look at the world of money and finance. &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Book&lt;/strong&gt;: Insights 6, Otava (e-book) &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chapters&lt;/strong&gt;: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 + glossaries on school/education, work and economy &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Grammar&lt;/strong&gt;: &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;adjectives and adverbs &lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;reported speech &lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;shortened clauses &lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;prepositions/adverbs with verbs, nouns and adjectives&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Vocabulary tests (Glossaries):&lt;/strong&gt; on Thursdays 14.2, 14.3, 28.3&lt;br/&gt;&#10; &lt;br/&gt;&#10; &lt;strong&gt;Preposition tests: Thu 21.2, Tue 5.3 and Thu 21.3&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Writing&lt;/strong&gt;: &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;A CV (instructions &lt;em&gt;Learning to learn 1. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;Compiling a CV&lt;/em&gt;) &lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;A composition at home: an organized paragraph (&lt;em&gt;Learning to learn 3 and 4&lt;/em&gt;) &lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Listening comprehension&lt;/strong&gt;: old matriculations tests + video listenings &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Evaluation:&lt;/strong&gt; The evaluation is based on everything we do on the course: The final test, vocabulary tests, preposition tests, listening comprehension tests, writing tasks. Please remember to hand in everything in time. &lt;br/&gt;&#10;  &lt;br/&gt;&#10; The final test is done by computer and it includes vocabulary and grammar exercises, composition and reading and listening comprehension. &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#10;</content>
