<title>This pathway highlights language awareness as an important part of education. Language awareness connects with cultural responsivity and anti-discrimination. Language awareness acknowledges the resources students bring and need to develop for and through school. Language awareness recognises the centrality and limits of language in teaching and studying. Language awareness also recognises the value of different modalities. On this pathway, you will encounter and explore different ways of integrating language awareness into your practice as a teacher. You will use different perspectives to explore language, different activities to strengthen language awareness and face important educational questions regarding language. This pathway contributes to the development of sustainable approaches in education. Click the steps below to see which themes belong to which studies.</title>
