In Lecture 3 you will listen to the presentation on team-level creativity. This is a comparative study conducted by Kurtzberg and Amabile. In this article, the authors compared the individual creativity with the group creativity. They found that the team-based creativity is more effective, because team diversity has an impact on the communication and collaboration. What's worth mentioning is that excessive diversity will also bring conflicts. In the last part of the lecture, Professor Alava teaches the concept of group thinking which can be used in mediating conflicts.
