Try to decide <b>which pieces of information are <strong class="editor red">the most essential</strong></b> and <b><span class="editor underline">underline the main points</span>. YOU DON'T HAVE TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING!</b><br/> <br/> 3) At home: <strong class="editor red">W<b>rite down (in your notebook) the essential bits/sententes in English</b></strong> and also<b> (Finnish pupils) <strong class="editor red">translate them into as fluent/natural Finnish</strong></b> as you can. <strong><strong class="editor red">DON’T TRY TO TRANSLATE THE WHOLE TEXT - YOU DON'T NEED TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING!</strong></strong></p> <p>3) In class<span class="editor underline"><b> on Friday, 1st September</b></span>: Join forces with those classmates <strong>who have read the same text as you</strong>: <strong class="editor red">compare your notes</strong>, if necessary, add more information in your notebook based on what the others have written. Then <strong class="editor red">discuss and negotiate</strong> who is going to write what: write the information on separate pieces of paper - both <span class="editor underline"><b>in English and Finnish!</b></span>. (<strong class="editor red">Everyone writes different pieces of information</strong> - negotiate with each other to make sure that you are not rewriting the same thing as somebody else in your group!)</p> <p>4) Finally, <b>glue and combine the pieces of information</b> (i.e. the different pieces of paper each one of you wrote) <b>on one poster</b>. Pay attention to the order in which the information is presented!
