Lecture 1 Searching for the formula

In this first lecture we study some important research findings and theories from the mid 1990’s by Barnard, Stodgill, Fiedler, Hersey and Blanchard. We learn different approaches in the effort of trying to find the universal formula for leadership.

Before any lecture either print or save to your computer the assigned PowerPoint presentation.

Assignment before the lecture: Read from Northouse chapter 5 (or 4 depending on the edition). Situational approach.
