As the French colony, Chad has a similar education system as in France. However, different from most countries, Chad does not yet have a specific educational leadership training institution. Ransome introduces the principal appointment process in Chad. Teachers are appointed as the educational leaders by the local authority according to their performance records. There are some seminars concerning educational leadership training which are funded by government, schools, or international NGOs.
