Lecture 5 Concluding the course

In the last lecture of the course, Lecturer Risku attempts to summarize the five essential features of the Finnish school system based on the group reports. Lecturer Risku’s summary includes the following features: democracy/autonomy, sound learning environments, the national core curriculum, shared leadership and good teachers. These general findings in the group reports are based on both the theoretical studies and the school visits that the groups made.
