Lecture 4 National culture differences continues

This lecture continues the analyses of Hofstede’s framework of cultures with focus on masculinity-femininity dimensions. We’ll learn about the various indicators for both masculinity and femininity. Pay special attention to professor Tjeldvoll’s analyses between the different dimensions in Hofstede’s dimensions, e.g.
power distance and masculinity.

During the lecture we can also follow the discussion of how different countries are situated in the dimensions of this framework. You may also locate the position of your own country in the framework. You may recollect the data also form the site: http://www.geert-hofstede.com/
