This lecture is a brief history of intercultural communication. Dr Kokkonen clarifies some of the terminology and theoretical approaches to adaptation.

We also hear personal experiences about different stereotypes.

Discussion 2/6. How could a leader remove stereotyping in a workplace? Try to come up with a concrete example and post it to platform. Read also other texts and comment at least one.
Personal development plan. Reflect your thoughts, readings and the lecture. How could you promote cross-cultural understanding in your organisation? What sort of skills would you need?
