In this lecture professor Alava challenges us to rethink many of our earlier assumptions under the topic: borders are braking –paradigms are changing. He talks about how leading and managing have changed, how authorities are braking, what is the new definition of control, and what are the new definitions to the loyalty and commitment.

Reflective report. Write your learning experiences into your personal reflective report. The reflective report for session 3 will be submitted after lecture 4.
Discussion 3/5Take the last argument from the lecture, where the focus is in the new definition of loyalty and commitment. Especially, think about how commitment is changing and how that is affecting school leadership.
