Lecture five continues the discussion on shared leadership and the community of leaders, which were presented in lecture four. If leader sees leadership as a recourse as professor Alava argues, then in the shared leadership model, teachers, students, stakeholders, provider, and parents all are resources for the principal when principal is leading the school. This is a new paradigm shift in understanding leading, when the entire school community is involved.
