Through a small game, Lecturer Lotta Kokkonen will explain what are networks, interpersonal tension, and group dynamics. Students also share their expectations for the course. Lastly, the aims and goals for the course are elaborated.

Assignments after the lecture:

1. Compare your own goals and expectations to the ones mentioned during the lecture by other students. Now write down four learning outcomes that you wish to achieve during the course. You will return to your own learning outcomes within your last assignment of the course.

2. Reflect and think from a perspective of a leader: What is the meaning of sharing participants’ expectations and goals at the beginning of a group work? Please write your thoughts into reflective report.
