The Minnesota Zoo and eduweb have partnered to develop WolfQuest, an innovative project that brings the immersive, compelling drama and action of video games to informal science learning while creating a model for nationwide distribution. Designed for players age nine to adult, WolfQuest teaches wolf behavior and ecology through exciting gameplay and intense social interactions.

This game was made possible by a grant from the Digital Media & Learning Competition. The goal was to make a truly educational game that was also genuinely fun to play. Rescue Russian Leopard
From WWF Russia:

Rescue the Russian Leopard is an ecological strategy game, although it also incorporates elements of other games such as photoshooting. This game is modelled after a real-life situation. Ahead lies not escaping virtual monsters, but dealing with real-life problems. Your goal is to significantly increase the endangered Far Eastern leopard population from 30 to at least 100 animals, or ensure that several leopard families live in the Ussurian Range reserve. You will have 30 years of game time in which to achieve either of these objectives. The best players strategies are able to be implemented by WWF for its real conservation activities. The game is suitable for all ages.
