Since Cameroon was colonized by both France and the Great Britain, the Eastern Cameroon was using the French education system model while the Western Cameroon was using the British model. In the year 1976, the two systems merged into a modern education system. As many other Afircan countries, there is no formal educational leadership training institution in Cameroon.
