In this lecture the lecturer introduces three perspectives of adaptation. Lecturer will explain the linear model and Berry's model. Please pay attention to the different ideologies behind each perspective.

Discussion 3/6. What is the most important intercultural skill you need in a workplace? Post your idea to platform. Read also the opinions of others and comment at least one.
Test how culturally aware are you. http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/tools/resources/culture-tests.html . Think was there something that surprised you? Is there something you disagree with?
Personal development plan. Reflect the test, your thoughts, readings and the lecture. How could you promote cultural awareness in your organisation? What sort of skills would you need? Where and how could you gain these skills? Update your PDP accordingly. The PDP will be submitted at the end of the course.
