There are currently 9 classes ranging from 1st to 6th grade. There are170 students in Risti School with 13 teachers, 6 School Assistants, the Head of School, and a School Secretary. A Pre -school operates in the same premises with the school. The school house is a 1950s stone building expanded in brick in 1990s. Most of the students live near Virkkala centre, in detached houses or apartment buildings.
