Ilmoittautuminen oman äidinkielen opetukseen lukuvuodelle 2024-25 - Registration to heritage language lessons, academic year 2024-25

Oppilaille, jotka puhuvat äidinkielenään tai sen rinnalla muuta kuin suomea tai ovat asuneet vuosia ulkomailla ja haluavat ylläpitää jo opittua kielitaitoaan Suomessa, järjestetään oman äidinkielen opetusta/ylläpitokielen opetusta, mikäli opetusryhmään kuuluu lukukauden alussa vähintään neljä oppilasta ja kieleen löytyy opettaja. Opetukseen ilmoittautuminen on vapaaehtoista, mutta ilmoittautumisen jälkeen oppilas on velvoitettu osallistumaan opetukseen. Oppiminen arvioidaan oppilaan todistukseen vuosittain. Opetus on opetussuunnitelman liitteen 3 mukaista opetusta. Kyseessä ei ole kielikerho, vaan kielenoppiminen vaatii sitoutumista.

Opetusta järjestetään Jyväskylän eri kouluilla. Opetusta annetaan kaksi tuntia viikossa ja tunnit pidetään normaalin lukujärjestyksen ulkopuolella iltapäivisin ja iltaisin. Opetusryhmät pyritään muodostamaan oppilaiden ikätaso ja kielitaito huomioiden. Opetusryhmään voi kuitenkin kuulua oppilaita esikoululaisista lukiolaisiin. Oppilaat voivat olla eri kouluista ja kunnista.

Ilmoittautuminen lukuvuoden 2024-2025 ryhmiin tapahtuu 1.4.-7.6. 2024 sähköisellä lomakkeella. Linkki ilmoittautumislomakkeeseen julkaistaan täällä. Toteutuvat kieliryhmät päivittyvät kesäkuuhun mennessä täältä
Jälki-ilmoittautumiseen lomake avataan uudelleen 13.6.

Mother tongue lessons or heritage language will be arranged for students whose mother tongue/heritage language (or the language they speak in addition to their mother tongue) is not Finnish. Lessons will also be arranged for Finnish students who have lived abroad for a significant amount of time and wish to upkeep the learned foreign language. The lessons can only be arranged if at the beginning of the semester the teaching group includes a minimum of four students and a teacher, who is qualified to teach the language.

Registration for the lessons is optional, but participation is mandatory after registration. Learning is assessed annually as part of the students’ school year report. The teaching is in accordance with appendix 3 of the national core curriculum.Learning the language during the lessons requires commitment, and the lessons are not to be viewed as an afternoon hobby club. The lessons are arranged in different schools around Jyväskylä.The lessons are held for two lesson hours per week, and are organized after the standard school timetable during the afternoons and evenings.

The teaching groups are formed, if possible, taking into account the age and language abilities of the students. A teaching group can, however, include students ranging from pre-primary school to upper secondary school. Upper secondary education students can participate in the lessons if they have already taken part in them during basic education. The students can be from different schools and municipalities.

The form is now closed, but the post-registration begins on 13.6.2024
