Lecture 5 Mission statement

In this lecture we learn that writing a mission statement is nothing but easy. Unfortunately, in so many cases the leaders in organizations do not pay sufficient attention to it, but rather keep it either self-evident or just cite legislature (in public organizations) or mimic other (in business).

Assignment after the lecture: Read the mission statement of your organization, and study, if it still is valid. If you are not satisfied with it, you may consider having meetings with the members in your organization in order to rethink it. When doing so, keep in mind the guidelines given in the lectures of this session.
