<title>ENS task week 22</title>

<content type="html">&lt;b&gt; Conservation biologist&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Nature has to be protected because of the problems the people have caused. Conservation biologist investigates especially the species, that are in danger to become extinct. Conservation biologist protects different species' living environments. Conservation biologist also plans how to preserve different kinds of animal species and environments in a changing world.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Run a forest biodiversity -quick test in one of the forests nearby your home.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;span&gt;Explore a forest. Tick each of the features which you can spot in the forest.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Many trees in different sizes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Big deciduous trees (eg. birches, alder, aspen)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Dead trees standing, some have fallen down&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ No tree stumps, which means there are no signs of trees been cut off&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Burned trees here and there&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ A brook or a spring&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Holes in the trees made by the woodpeckers&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ There is beard moss or polypore growing on the trees' trunks&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;__ Flying squirrel spotted which can relate to an old forest&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you can find at least four different features from the list, it implies that the forest is valuable from the forest biodiversity point of view.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;</content>
