<p>We know that different occupations have different status and different possibilities to get more social status than others. In the beginning of the lecture, professor Tjeldvoll talks about professionalism in general, and then he focuses to the occupation of teachers as a professional field. Later in the lecture we learn in more detail the historical background of the evolvement of the teaching profession. <br/>
