Usually the visible &amp;quot;mushroom&amp;quot; of the fungus.&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;strong&gt;ground layer&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;/strong&gt;The lowest layer of vegetation on the forest floor.
