<content type="html">&lt;div&gt;Lecture 3 (historical perspective III) begins with Sigmund Freud, who cannot be placed clearly in any of the eras presented. Then, the lecture goes on to the main theme: authority and its challenges. From the early years the ideas are presented by the following thinkers and writers: John Locke, David Hume, John Dewey, Thomas Hobbes (one leader concept ‘Great Man concept’), Karl Marx, Frederick Engels, W.E.B.
