In Lecture 9, Professor Alava talks about the classical Jungian approach of human preferences. He presents some concerns about its capability to detect all the difference people have in the dimensions in question. He argues that there is grey area not detected earlier in all four Jungian dimension.

Then, he presents a new and wider interpretation to the old model by opening up the earlier one-dimensional concepts to two dimensions.
