Se tarkoittaa myös sitä, että tämä projekti, jonka parissa olemme nyt puolitoista vuotta työskennelleet, päättyy. Kun ensimmäisen kerran kuulimme tästä Erasmus+ projektista, meillä ei ollut aavistustakaan, miten paljon tulisimme tämän projektin kautta saamaan. Blogin kirjoittamisen myötä kirjoittamisesta - niin suomeksi kuin englanniksi - on tullut paljon sujuvampaa. Tätä blogia kirjoittaessamme me olemme myös tutustuneet toisiimme paljon paremmin ja ystävyydestämme on tullut vahvempi. Meidän mukana on monesti kirjoittaessa ollut myös muita ystäviämme, jotka ovat meille hyvin rakkaita. Iso kiitos teille, Lotta, Sara, Ida F, Ida M, Ria, Johanna ja kaikki muut mukana olleet. Olette meille hyvin tärkeitä. Lämmin kiitos myös Liisalle ja Ritvalle, jotka ovat auttaneet meitä kirjoittamisessa ja aina kiireistänne huolimatta huolineet meidät kirjoittamaan. So, this one-and-a-half year project will be finished as well.<br/> When we first heard about this Erasmus+ project, we had no idea how interesting it would be being part of it.<br/> Writing the blog has learnt us how to write more fluently, both in Finnish and English. We, who did the actual writing, have also got to know each other better, and it has made our friendship stronger. Päivän aluksi suurin osa oppilaista meni kirkkoon. Tämän jälkeen meillä on muutamia tunteja, jotka luokanvalvojat pitävät. Näiden tuntien aikana emme enää opiskele, vaan saamme ottaa rennosti pitkän aherruksen jälkeen. Yhdeltätoista meillä on potkiaiset, jotka kasiluokkalaiset ovat meille järjestäneet. Potkiaisten ohjelmaa me ysit emme oikeastaan tiedä, mutta siellä tulee olemaan jonkinlaisia pelejä ja kilpailuja. Sen lisäksi kasit ovat keksineet erilaisia nimityksiä, joilla ysejä voidaan palkita. Tällaisia ovat esimerkiksi monena vuonna olleet &quot;vuoden hiukset&quot; ja &quot;vuoden suloisin pari&quot;. Mielenkiintoista nähdä, millaiset potkiaiset meille on järjestetty!<br/> Huomenna meillä on kevätjuhla. Kevätjuhlaa saavat ysien vanhemmat ja läheiset halutessaan tulla seuraamaan. Juhlassa esitetään musiikkiesityksiä, jaetaan stipendit ja hymytyttö- ja poikapatsaat ja pidetään puheita. Meille yseille jaetaan myös päättötodistukset juhlassa, yleisön edessä. Juhla päättää meidän yläasteemme. Sen jälkeen meillä voi viimein alkaa LOMA!<br/> Nyt kolmen vuoden jälkeen meidän yläaste loppuu ja me hajaannumme omille poluillemme. Meille on kertynyt muistoja paljon yhdessä vietetyiltä vuosilta. Siksi tuntuu haikealta ajatella, että nyt tämä &quot;tuttu ja turvallinen&quot; loppuu. Se on tietyllä tapaa katkeransuloista. <br/> <br/> Today is our last school day in lower secondary school! In the morning most students went to church. After this we'll have a few lessons with homeroom teachers. During these lessons we won't study anymore; we can just relax after school work. At 11 a.m. we'll have &quot;kicking out of the 9th graders&quot; which the 8th graders have organized. We 9th graders don't actually know what we're going to have today in our kicking out event but there is going to be some games and competitions. Furthermore, the 8th graders have invented different kinds of humorous diplomas such as &quot;hair of the year&quot; and &quot;the cutest couple of the year&quot;. It will be really interesting to see what our kicking out is going to be like!<br/> Tomorrow we're going to have the final spring festival. The 9th graders' families, the nearest and dearest, can come and watch the event if they want to. We'll have some musical performances and speeches there and some grants will be given and the best behaviour of male and female students will be awarded. We 9th graders will also get our diplomas in the spring festival. The festival means the end for us in the lower secondary school. Then the holiday can start!<br/> After these three years we're going to scatter to find our our own trails. We have got many lovely memories during these years together. That's why it feels melancholic to think that now all this &quot;familiar and safe&quot; is going to end. Seitsemäs- ja kahdeksasluokkalaiset etsivät keskustasta patsaita. Meille yseille järjestettiin bussiajelu, jossa tutustuimme kotikaupunkimme Kuopion eri osiin ja Kuopion nähtävyyksiin sekä merkkihenkilöihin. Me olimme ystävämme Rian kanssa kierroksen oppaina, joten bussin etuosassa juonsimme ja kerroimme, mitä missäkin paikassa on tapahtunut. Tämä oli tosi kivaa! Saimme valmiin juonnon, missä oli kerrottu, mitä asioita tulee mainita. Meidän piti sovittaa se &quot;omaan suuhun sopivaksi&quot;. Täytyy myöntää, että saimme valtavasti lisää tietoa Kuopiosta. <br/> Bussiajelun jälkeen menimme syömään Kallaveden lukiolle. Ruokailtuamme lähdimme etsimään vanhoja rakennuksia. Harmiksemme sää oli kamala. Vaikka onkin jo kesä, meillä täällä Suomessa oli aivan uskomattoman kylmää ja tuulista. Jossakin vaiheessa alkoi sataa räntää / luntaa! Meillä oli sateenvarjot, mutta emme päässeet eteenpäin kovan tuulen ja sateen vuoksi. Kastuimme aivan täysin. Mutta tästä huolimatta, meillä oli mukavaa yhdessä. <br/> Meillä on jäljellä enää muutama päivä koulussa, sillä pian meidän yläasteemme on suoritettu. Nyt odotetaan potkiaisia ja kevätjuhlaa!<br/> <br/> Vera &amp; Ella<br/> <br/> Yesterday, 1st of June, we had a yearly event, called 'Get to know your hometown'. The 7th graders visited museums and the 8th graders were looking for statues in the city. We, the 9th graders, had a bus tour on which we got to know our hometown, Kuopio, better; we went sigthseeing and had some information about famous and important people who once lived in Kuopio. We were guides on this tour with our friend Ria so we told the other students about each famous sight . That was really nice! We didn't have to make the scripts ourselves, though, they were ready for us to use. We admit that we got an enormous amount of new information about Kuopio. <br/> After this bus tour we had lunch at a high school called Kallavesi. Then it was time to look for old buildings walking around in the town center. Unfortunately, the weather was bad. Even though it is summer, here in Finland it was unbelievably cold and windy yesterday, it was actually sleeting! We had umbrellas but we couldn't walk forward because the wind was so hard. We were soaking wet. Anyway, we had a nice time together. <br/> We have only a couple of school days left. Tanssiaisia varten harjoittelimme useita kertoja tanssiaskeleita, tanssien välissä olevia siirtymisiä ja sisääntuloa. Meillä on hyvin erilaisia tansseja, perinteisestä valssista tangon kautta cha cha chaahan. Näiden lisäksi, viimeiseksi tanssimme ysien suunnitteleman revittelytanssin, joka on erilainen, hauska ja persoonallinen. Odotamme innolla, että näemme, mitä yleisö on mieltä meidän omasta tanssistamme. Sen suunnitteluun on nähty hyvin paljon aikaa ja vaivaa. <br/> Tanssiaispäivänä meille yseille järjestetään myös juhlaruokailu, jonka järjestämisessä kasiluokkalaiset ovat ollet apuna. Juhlaruokaa emme vielä tiedä. Rehtori ja muu henkilökunta varmaankin pitävät puheita nauttiessamme ruokaa toisten seurassa. Iltapäivällä, ennen viimeistä tanssiesitystä meille yseille, vanhemmille ja ystäville sekä opettajille järjestetään juhlakahvitus. We'll perform for the primary school pupils, our own pupils and teachers, and finally, for our parents. We have practised dancing many times with our PE teachers. We have had to practise dance steps, transitions between dances and the entry. We have many different kind of dances, from a traditional waltz and tango to cha cha cha. Furthermore, there will be our final dance, made by us, the 9th graders. It's funny and personal. We're looking forward to the moment when we can see what people think about it. We have made a big effort to plan and exercise this dance. <br/> In the same day when we have our dance event we'll have our final special school lunch. The eight grade students have been organizing this. We don't know yet what we're going to eat then. The head teacher and other school staff will give some talks, I guess. In the afternoon, before the last dance performance, we'll have a special occacion with our teachers, parents and friends having coffee, tea and cake. Then we'll go to National museum. After that we'll have some free time. We and our friends are going shopping. In the evening we're going to a restaurant. And of course, we'll stay up late at night. <br/> In the morning after our breakfast we'll go to Science museum. After that we're going to eat pizza. In the afternoon we'll go to an amusement park called Linnanmäki. Olen matkasta kieltämättä aika innoissani, mutta tavallaan minua myös jännittää. Odotan matkalta uusia kokemuksia ja muihin ihmisiin tutustumista. Matkan aikana todennäköisesti pääsemme vierailemaan Madrinin kumppanikoululle. Hauskaa nähdä, millaista koulunkäynti on siellä. Mitkä asiat ovat samanlaisia? Haastattelemme siis kieliryhmään kuuluvia oppilaita ja sitä vetäviä opettajia. Videossa pohdimme mm. sitä mitä kieliryhmän projektit ovat opettaneet meille ja sitä, mitä kaikkea olemme kieliryhmän ansiosta päässeet kokemaan. Opettajilta aiomme kysymme sitä, millaista kieliryhmän vetäminen heidän näkökulmastaan on ollut. Pohdimme myös kuvauspaikkoja ensi viikkoa varten.<br/> <br/> Olemme nyt kuvanneet kaikki haastattelut, sekä oppilaiden että opettajien. Näin jälkikäteen ajatellen nämä kolme vuotta täällä ovat vierähtäneet tosi nopeasti. Meille on jäänyt paljon hyviä muistoja. Haluamme, että näitä muistoja tulee vielä lisää ja siksi aiomme näiden 9 viikon aikana ehtiä tekemään monenlaisia asioita. Meille on esimerkiksi tulossa kauan odotettu luokkaretki. Menemme silloin kahdeksi päiväksi Helsinkiin. Tämän lisäksi yhdeksäsluokkalaisilla on myös tanssiaiset, joihin osallistuminen on tietenkin vapaaehtoista. Nine weeks! These three years have gone very quickly. We have gotten many nice memories. We want that we'll get more of these memories and that's why we are going to do lots of things during this nine weeks. For example we will have a field trip which we have waited a long time. We'll go to Helsinki for two days. In addition to this the ninth grades will have a dance. You don't have to dance if you don't want to, of course. Ensin kävelimme läheiseen kauppakeskukseen Suomen tyypillisessä säässä: kauheassa lumipyryssä. Sinne päästyämme aloitimme pian kuvaamaan videota. <br/> Ensin teimme ns. ostostilanteen, jossa teimme ostoksia ja maksoimme. Seuraavaksi kuvasimme lavastetun tilanteen, jossa kaksi toisilleen tuttua henkilöä tapasivat. Halusimme kuvata tämän, jotta saisimme videoon arkipäivän fraaseja; tervehdyksiä, kuulumisia, anteeksipyyntöjä. Pojat kuvasivat tilatessaan ruokaa. Kuvasimme myös tilanteen, jonka avulla saimme kerrottua vaatekokoja ja numeroita. Kävellessämme takaisin koululle kuvasimme lisäksi kohtauksen, jossa kysyttiin reittiä. <br/> Vaikka sää olikin luminen, matkat menivät nopeasti, koska porukka oli kiva. First we walked to a nearby shopping centre called Matkus. The weather was very typical for Finland: a terrible snowstorm. When we arrived there, we started filming. <br/> First we pretended to buy something and pay for it. Then we filmed a faked situation<b> </b>where two people who knew each other met. We wanted to film this because that way we could include ordinary, everyday phrases eg. greetings and apologizing. The boys filmed when they ordered food in a restaurant. We also filmed a situation where we taught sizes and numbers. <br/> When we walked back to school we also filmed a situation which was about &quot;asking and telling how to get somewhere&quot;.<br/> It really was a snowy weather but it was easy to walk all the way because we had fun walking with a nice group. Lajivaihtoehtoja on tänä vuonna ennätyksellisen määrä, ainakin meidän mielestämme. Lajien joukosta löytyy vanhoja klassikoita, kuten jääkiekko ja luistelu. Sen lisäksi tällä kertaa mukana on myös kokonaan uusia lajeja, kuten ratsastus ja hevosenhoito. Lajeja on paljon ja ne ovat hyvin erilaisia trampoliinihyppelystä valokuvauksen kautta lasketteluun, joten jokaiselle löytyy varmasti jokin mieleinen juttu. Aamulla tapaamme lähes kaikissa lajeissa koululla. Sen jälkeen jokainen siirtyy oman lajinsa aloituspaikalle, joka voi olla esimerkiksi laskettelukeskus tai toinen koulu. <br/> On kivaa, että normaalin koulunkäynnin ohella meillä on monentyylistä yhteisöllistä toimintaa, joka tuo arkeen vaihtelua. <br/> <br/> Kivaa viikkoa kaikille! <br/> <br/> Vera &amp; Ella<br/> <br/> On Thursday (23.2) we are going to have a winter sports day when students take part in sports which they have chosen. This year we have a record breaking amount of options from which to choose from, in our opinion. There are old classics among the sports like icehockey and skating. In addition we have new sports like horse riding. There are plenty of sports and they are very different, from trampoline jumping and photographing to downhill skiing so everyone will sure find something nice. In the morning we will meet at school. Kerromme, miten Suomen kieltä käytetään arjen tilanteissa, kuten shoppailleissa ja tervehtiessä. Emme tiedä vielä tarkkaa päivää, jolloin kuvaamme videon. Aloitimme suunnittelemaan sitä jo aiemmin, mutta luulemme, että lisäsuunnittelu on vielä tarpeen. <br/> Tänä vuonna meille on myös tulossa kaksi matkaa, Espanjaan ja Belgiaan. Belgian matka on viikolla seitsemän. Tästä lisää vielä myöhemmin. <br/> Joka tapauksessa, tänä vuonna meillä on siis tulossa paljon toimintaa! Last Skype contact didn't succeed but this went well. We got a contact immediately. We discussed about the project that we will do in January. Tapahtuman tarkoituksena oli tutustuttaa heitä eri lajeihin ja osoittaa, että eri lajeja voi harrastaa, vaikka ikää ei olisi kertynyt vielä kauheasti. Saimme tänne mailapeliliigasta kouluttajia, samoin muista Kuopion mailapeliseuroista. Tapahtumaa edeltävänä päivänä myös opettajille järjestettiin koulutus.</p> <p>Joitain koulumme oppilaita, kaseja ja ysejä, oli mukana tapahtuman toteutuksessa apuohjaajina. He tutustuttivat oppilaita mailapeleihin ja kierrättivät heitä eri pisteissä, kuten pingis-, pesäpallo ja sulkapallopisteissä. Muutama tyttö 9h:lta teki lapsille temppuradan, jossa lapset pääsivät harjoittelemaan liikkumista mailan ja pallon kanssa.</p> <p>”Lapset olivat erittäin innokkaita kokeilemaan erilaisia tehtäviä, esimerkiksi temppuradalla kulkemista. They were practising to play different ball games. The meaning of this event was to introduce them to different sports and indicate that hobbies can be interesting even though you are not very old. We got here trainers from different ball game teams in Kuopio. A day before the event there were also a training for the teachers in our school. <br/> <br/> Some students in our school, eight / ninth grades, were organizing this event. They were assistant instructors. They introduced the students to table tennis, baseball and badminton, for example. Some girls on class 9H made an adventure track where kids could practise moving with balls and sticks. <br/> <br/> &quot;The kids were very avid to try different missions, like moving on the adventure track. They balanced with sticks and transported different balls, like birdies and other sticks. Meillähän siis on koulussa ruokala, jossa oppilaat saavat käydä syömässä. Suurin osa oppilaista käy siellä. Ruoka ei maksa oppilaille mitään. Viime viikolla järjestettiin ensimmäinen toiveruokapäivä, jolloin oppilaat saivat toivoa, mitä ruokaa haluaisivat syödä. Eniten toivottiin tortilloja, joten saimme niitä syötäväksi. On kivaa nähdä, kuinka hyvin voimme vaikuttaa koulun asioihin. Tällainen toiminta ja huomioon ottaminen tekee koulussa olosta mukavampaa. <br/> <br/> Vera &amp; Ella<br/> <br/> Last week we had a &quot;What do you wish for lunch -day&quot; at school. We have a school canteen at school. There students can eat every day. Food doesn't cost anything for the students. Last week we had students' favourite school lunch day for the very first time . Then students could hope / wish what they would like to eat. We ate tortillas because they were the first wish on the list. It is nice to see that we students can effect school things. Minä, Vera, olin eläinlääkärissä molemmat kaksi viikoa. Siivoilin ja olin apuna operaatioissa. <br/> Minä (Ella) olin ensimmäisen viikon päiväkodissa. Olin alle neljävuotiaiden ryhmässä. Autoin lapsia pukemisessa, jaoin heille ruokaa, leikin ja pelasin heidän kanssaan yms. Lapset olivat todella ihania ja minulla on jo nyt ikävä niitä. Perjantaina tulin kipeäksi ja olin kipeänä koko seuraavan viikon. En siis päässyt ollenkaan Savon Sanomille. <br/> Työharjoittelu oli opettavainen ja mielenkiintoinen kokemus. Molemmat pidimme töyharjoittelusta paljon. Nyt koulunkäynti jatkuu aika normaalina. Kahden viikon päästä meillä alkaa syysloma, jota odotamme jo innolla... <br/> <br/> Kivaa viikkoa kaikille!<br/> Vera &amp; Ella <br/> <br/> We had a work practise two weeks ago. I ( Vera) was at a vet clinic the whole time. I cleaned and helped with operations. <br/> I (Ella) was at a kindergarten first week. I was working with kids in under four-year-old group. I helped children with clothing. And I gave food to them, played with them etc. The children were so lovely that I already miss them. On Friday I got ill and I was ill the whole week. So I didn't go to work on a newspaper. <br/> The work practise was a very educational and interesting experience. Both of us liked it very much. Now studying at school continues normally. Kuten jo edellisessä postauksessa mainitsimme, me (Vera &amp; Ella) menimme keilaamaan. Lähdimme kävelemään kohti keilahallia hieman yhdeksän jälkeen. Matka oli noin viisi kilometria, mutta meni nopeasti, sillä juttelimme, kuuntelimme musaa ja pelailimme ystävämme kanssa totuutta ja tehtävää (ilman tehtäviä tosin). Meillä oli aikaa keilata yhteensä puolitoista tuntia. Radallamme oli kolme henkilöä, joten saimme keilata aika paljon. Onnistuimme ihan hyvin, toisinaan meni kouruun ja toisinaan saimme täysikaatoja. Täytyy tosin myöntää, että lopussa etenkin kädet olivat jo aika kipeinä. Jatkoimme vielä hetken totuuden ja tehtävän pelaamista (edelleen ilman tehtäviä). Sen lisäksi puhuimme mm ysiluokkalaisille järjestettävistä tanssiaisista. Emme tiedä vielä, osallistummeko niihin. As we said in last writing, we (Vera &amp; Ella) went bowling. We started to go to a bowling alley. We had 1½ hours to bowl. We were three people so we (**) bowled kinda lot. We managed well; sometimes the ball went to the chute and sometimes we had strikes. We have to say that our hands got quite sore at the end. We continued playing truth and dare (without dare, again) for a little while. We also talked about the spring dance event for the ninth graders, for example. Se on jokavuotinen tapahtuma, joka järjestetään kerran syksyllä ja kerran talvella. Vaihtoehtoina on monia lajeja, joista oppilaat saavat valita mieleisensä. Joka vuosi yritetään keksiä jotain hieman erilaisempia lajeja. Tänä vuonna lajeina olivat frisbee-golf, pesäpallo, keilaus, valokuvausretki, yleisurheilu, supercorner, onkikilpailu, pyöräily, bodycompat, jalkapallo, golf, Brasilian jujutsu, hiphop ja kävely. Tämän vuoden uusina lajeina ovat bodycompat ja Brasilian jujtsu. Me (Vera &amp; Ella) menemme keilaamaan yhdessä muutamien kavereidemme kanssa, koska keilaaminen kiinnostaa meiltä. <br/> Odotamme liikuntapäivää innolla! It's an event which takes place every year, once in autumn and once in spring. We have many kind of sports and students can choose what to do. Every year the teachers try to invent new sports. This year we have frisbee-golf, baseball, bowling, photography, athletics, supercorner (it's a indoors adventure park, fishing, cycling, bodycombat, football, golf, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, hiphop dance and walking. We (Vera &amp; Ella) are going bowling with some of our friends because we are interested in bowling. <br/> We're looking forward to the day of sports activities. Nyt on hyvä aika alkaa suunnittelemaan tämän vuoden projekteja. <br/> Tänä vuonna tarkoituksena on toteuttaa kieliryhmän oppitunnit, joiden suunnittelua olemme jo aloittaneet. Ajattelimme toteuttaa ainakin osan näistä oppitunneista videon välityksellä. Yritämme tehdä videosta mahdollisimman realistisen. Tarkkaa toteuttamisajankohtaa ei ole vielä sovittu. <br/> Sen lisäksi toteutamme joitain muita projekteja yhdessä, mutta emme niistä tiedä tarkemmin. Now is good time to start planning projects of this year. <br/> This year our intention is to carry out Language Labs lessons what we have planned already. We thought to carry out some of these lessons on videos. We try to do it so realistic as possible. We don't know the exact time when we will do it.<br/> And we'll do some other projects together but we don't know about it yet. Ajattelimme hieman kertoa teille meidän kesäfiiliksistä ja ajatuksista uutta kouluvuotta kohtaan. <br/> Täällä Suomessa kesäloma alkoi kesäkuun alussa ja loma kesti 60 päivää. Tuntuu vaikealta ajatella, että loma oli noin pitkään, sillä se meni nopeasti. Monet kieliryhmämme jäsenet kävivät rippikoulun. Osa kävi ulkoimailla nauttimassa lämmöstä ja auringosta, jota Suomessakin oli jonkun verran. Sen lisäksi vietimme aikaa ystäviemme ja perheemme kanssa. Kaikkineen kesä 2k16 oli ihana &lt;3<br/> Nyt meillä on alkanut peruskoulun viimeinen luokka. Ajatus viimeisestä vuodesta pakollista opiskelua on helpottava, joskin stressaava, että samalla haikea. Tuntuu hassulta, kun ei tiedä, mitä tämän vuoden jälkeen tapahtuu. Mutta nyt me haluamme tehdä tästä vuodesta ikimuistoisen, jota muistelemme vielä 2080-luvulla. <br/> <br/> Ihanaa ja aurinkoista lukuvuotta kaikille teille! <br/> <br/> Vera &amp; Ella<br/> <br/> Summer 2k16 is over now, we were back to school last week. We want to tell about our summer feelings and share our thoughts of the new school year to you. <br/> Here in Finland summer holiday started in June and the holiday lasted 60 days. It feels difficult to think that the holiday was so long because it went so quickly. Many of our language lab friends went to confirmation school. Some of the language lab members were in a foreign country enjoying the warmth and sun. We're happy because in Finland the sun was shining too. We were with our friends and family too. All in all, the summer 2k16 was lovely. &lt;3<br/> We have started the last year in (junior) secondary school. It feels soothing but stressful and little melancholic. It's weird that we don't know what will happen after this year. Nyt olemme ansainneet pienen tauon, kesäloman. Kesällä minä, Vera, käyn rippikoulun ja jillaan kavereideni kanssa. Ja minä, Ella, lähden Espanjaan lomailemaan. Sen lisäksi, aioin olla kavereideni ja perheen kanssa ja ratsastaa paljon. <br/> Jatkamme vielä ensi vuonna tehtävien parissa. <br/> Aurinkoista ja lämmintä kesää kaikille!<br/> <br/> This year we have had plenty to do with language lab tasks and we have had so funny together. Now we have earn little break, summer holiday. In the summer I (Vera) will *** and I'll chill with my friends. I (Ella) will go to Spain on a holiday.
