Franconian costumeshttps://peda.net/id/12a452b00b92016-04-26T13:24:35+03:00<span>Many administrative districts and counties of Bavaria have their own costume, so our region around Bamberg.</span><br/>

<span>The Franconian costumes are worn by adults and children. Today they are adupted to modern realities. The previous costumes were elaborately designed, but not as convenient as today´s.</span><br/>
<br/>
<span>Wearing a costume is not as popuar and normal in Germany than in many other coutries. For historical reasons, the typical German characteristics were treated cautiously for many years.</span><br/>
<br/>
<span>We have got special clubs, where the costumes are worn for special events like funfair, weddings, and invitations to the "Munich Oktoberfest".</span><br/>
<br/>
<span>So in our region also folk dances aren´t as common as in other countries of Europe. Only in these clubs and events people are dancing.</span>2016-04-26T13:24:35+03:00
