Instead, we did exercise 2a on page 197. <br/> <br/> In pairs or groups, the studens imagined that they were establishing a new society on Mars. &quot;Due to pollution and overcrowding, a population of about the size of Finland is being moved to live on Mars and form a totally new society. You have been asked to form a new government. You need to deciede the following things:&quot;<br/> <br/> 1. What kind of political system will you have?<br/> 2. Will there be a monarch or president?<br/> 3.How many members of parliament will there be?<br/> 4. If there are elections, how often will they be?<br/> 5. Who will be able to vote?<br/> 6. What areas of life will be controlled by the government?<br/> 7. How will you tax the population?<br/> 8.
