<content type="html">&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;em&gt;COUNTRY LIFE IN THE MIDDLE AGES &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;(Chloe and Kalila)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;There is 250.000 population of Finland in 14th century.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;The house in the village were built close to each other.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Further inland there were scattered families living alone.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;The house are usually build in the both side of the road.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Most of Finland was still not being used that much, only for hunting or fishing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Swedish farmers moved in quite big groups to live in the islands and the bank of the sea.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Every village had its own blacksmith and a miller ( a person who works or owns in a corn mill).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt; The group of houses formed a farming village.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt; Farmers and tenant farmers formed their own groups. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Most of the farmers owned their farms, but some rented land from the king, church or the nobility. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;In the villages there was a servant group, owing no land but they worked for the farmers. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;The farmers who rented the land paid the land either by working a certain number of days in the year for the landlord, or by giving some of the thing the farmed.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&lt;/ul&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;br/&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;</content>
