Tukiopetusta tarvitsevat oppilaat voivat osallistua koulun muiden luokkien uintitunneille, mikäli kyyditys koulusta uimahallille ja takaisin sen mahdollistavat. Oppilaille voidaan myös suositella osallistumista kaupungin/uimaseuran järjestämiin uimakouluihin tai yksityis- ja pienryhmäopetukseen.</em></p> <p><em>Jos oppilas ei pääse oman luokan uintitunneille, hän voi korvata ne rinnakkaisluokan tai koulun muun sopivan tasoiseksi katsotun luokan uintitunneilla.</em></p> <p><em>Oppilaiden uimataitoa testataan virallisesti kaksi kertaa peruskoulun uintien aikana. Kuudennella ja yhdeksännellä luokalla suoritetaan valtakunnallinen yhtäjaksoinen 200 metrin uimataitotesti, <a
